This
all started with an old Pentax I received as a gift on my 17th
birthday. It became my travel partner. By the time I was 21
I had been to 35 countries. I eventually had a 5-year layover
in Australia where I studied art, photography and philosophy.
This is when I became really serious about the craft.
I moved back to Seattle in 1990 to work as a still photographer.
However, an opportunity came about to work in the camera department
on a television show called Northern Exposure. I jumped at the
chance to work with movie cameras.
Nearly two decades later and hundreds of films, commercials,
TV shows and documentaries I am still enchanted with the camera.
I continue to shoot chrome, although digital does make it’s
way into my work much more often these days.
Thankfully, my work affords me the luxury to travel at will
and experience many more countries, culture and food.
Thank you for visiting my site and enjoy the journey.
